Hey guys, I am opening a cafe and want to have a really nice Hi Fi system in it. I am thinking of buying the B&W 800D2 and running them with the NAD m22 and m12 amps in a 40sqm room.

I want to know if this combo would work. I read that you should have a 500w amp with these speakers but surely the NAD m22 cant sound horrible? I am not planning to crank them up all the way.
Also is this overkill for a 40sqm room? If so what other speakers would you recommend? I was also looking at the Focal Sopra N3

Cheers guys!

Expensive speakers & public place like a Cafe drivers will get damaged by kids & adults
Public space so no need for loud volumes
common in japan for decades with Klipsch & JBL speakers La Scala/Klipschorns
5watts will do & will fill a very large room , 500watts will get you arrested by the police

If you do want lots of power HEDD tower are actiice with 1200wpc
