ramzijw:hey GEL. I have to agree with everyone else and say get the 685's with the asw10 sub or pv1. depending how much money u want to spend. I opted in upgraded the rear speakers from the 686's to 685's and got the asw10 sub. Really nice and these speakers i have to say produce nice bass themselve but the sub deffinatley makes the differences in the lower frequencys. Overall its down to how much you want to spend. Ohh one thing though.....you probably going to need to buy stands for the 685's though wouldnt really want to hang a 8kg speaker off the wall :S lol
I did not realise these were so heavy. These are for my uncle and they were going to go on a shelf he has around the edge of his lounge, I can't describe it well because I have not seen it.
That sound's pretty heavy know.
Thanks
gel, you could wall hang the 685's using something like the b-tech AV38, these are made for medium to large speakers weighing upto 15kg.
They only hold the speaker 95mm off the wall though, so if they are rear ported you may need to use the bungs, if you get some boom of them.
They come in silver, black or white and cost £22 a pair, I intend using some with my RX1's, which weigh the same, but are slightly smaller
