Just as this yesterday seems to have missed the statement in that press release regarding B&O still being in talks with a potential taker-overer, which is almost more interesting than the TV announcement.

Wasn't B&O already using LG panels in its TVs? Or were they Samsungs?

Yes, B&O has bought panels from other manufacturers to make their TVs. But this time, LG will take responsibility for development and production process, while B&O will drive the overall concept, design and acoustics.
