Please help!

I have recently bought an AVI laboratory series amplifier on ebay. The amp arrived with a universal remote instead of an original as stated in the description. The seller is trying to make out that some of these amps were sent with universal remotes. Is this as ridiculous as it sounds or is there any truth his claim.

But id ring them with the serial number and confirm

It's true. You can ask Ashley on the AVI forum. I have a standard unbranded one for my Lab Series CD player.

AVI has used universal remotes with the earliest versions of their active speakers, but not sure about the amps etc.

Best to post the question on the AVI forum. AVI are always very quich to answer.
