Where else would I state that I don't care about AVI amplifier specs than a thread about AVI amplifier specs? A thread about turntables?

It depends. If the OP asked for a turntable rec, and some overzealous AVI fan suggested getting a pair of ADM9s, then maybe. I think I'd enjoy reading such a thread. >)
