hi . i am all new to this . can anyone tell me which av receiver has the best video upscaling abilities . my choices are the onkyo 875 , denon 1909 or anything else in the £1000 bracket . cheers

The Onkyo 875 has an exceptional video upscaler - definitely the best we've tested so far at that price point (and you can get it for much less than £1000 at the mo, thank to the 876 being due out soon).

Neither of those recievers are anywhere near the £1000 bracket; closer to half that.

Any idea when Onkyo will be announcing their new line up?

Also, any idea when the Denon 2809 will hit the market and be reviewed?
