Audioquest "Water" - discolored?

I think the best thing to do is unplug and plug in a few times. That will clean up the contact points. It's not going to make any difference to the sound anyway, a slight difference in resistance is all and it will not affect the sound.

Probably get more than that. Cables tend to hold value quite well for some reason.
