Audioengine HD6 for home theater?

Hi

I am planning to buy Audioengine HD6 and pair it with Audioengine S8 subwoofer for my TV setup. I will use PS4, Satellite tv and Android tablet tv to plug it to TV. With the tv uses optical output to the audioengine, is this setup ok??

I use Audioengine 2 with my 32-inch TV and it's very good. No reason why you can't use the HD6. It will sound very good, although for that money, you can get a decent separates system which can give better sound but not the convenience.

do you think hd6 with s8 is not needed for the bass or I should just get hd6 alone?

I'm a big fan of subwoofer, and it will make a significant difference. However, you can get a better subwoofer than S8 for the money. If in the UK, look at BK subwoofers.
