AUDIO_TS to FLAC on MAC?

Does anyone know if and how you can convert the AUDIO_TS from a DVD into FLAC or other music files format.

Right - instructions for (illegally) extracting the audio from a DVD using MactheRipper are here. The end of that artice tells you how to convert ac3 to mp3, and specifies a particular piece of software to do it, but you need FLAC, and don't know if that software will do that. How are you ripping to FLAC on a Mac at the moment? XLD? Max?

Thanks John - I have MacTheRipper but I need something like ffmpegX (which was in ur link to convert to FLAC) but that goes to MP3, not FLAC or other high res.

I also use MAX.

I want to get the 24 bits audio from a CD/DVD I bought from the Flaming Lips on my NAS in 24 bits FLAC.

Have to keep searching .....
