Arcam FMJA19 help needed

I've just bought one of these having listened to it against the Brio.

It still sounds as good as it did on demo but I've noticed the amp itself emits a noticeable low hum when turned on. This isn't transfered to the speakers and is only audible if sat close to the amp. The noise continues when all other components are disconnected.

Is it just me being picky with a new piece of equipment or are these just noisy amps ?

The A19 is a great amp and easily gives my A28 a run for its money!

Bought one for my Dad and it rocks with no audible hum. Have you checked your wiring?
