Arcam cd192 or FMJ36?

Hi All,

I already have the cd192, but was wondering if the fmj36 was alot better? I am going to be getting rid of my CA 640V2 in the bedroom, and was thinking of moving the cd192 up there, then getting a smooth player for the lounge.

I know it didn't exactly get 5 stars, but am only asking a question....

The fmj36 would be about £600.

Your thoughts please..... I mainly like women singers so a smoother sound may be for me.

When i bought the FMJ36 i auditioned the Arcam 192 at the same time and the FMJ was definately an improvement.

The difference was more body and detail to the music, a smoother presentation and a classy look especially in black.

The 192 was a good player as well, so its relative but really for £600 you would be hard pressed to find anything new and boxed that compares.
