Arcam BDP100

When are What Hi Fi going to review the Arcam BDP100? and if you have is it as good as all of the hype suggests. I am waiting to purchase a stand alone Blu Ray and want to know if it will be money well spent.

It's not exactly a mass-produced product....

Anyway, first retailer we tried has sold out of their stock (three machines) already. Not bad in this economy/at that price.

Good for Arcam! Well done, considering they are sold on the strength of the brand name with no reviews so far.

When you do get one for review can you specifically look out for a couple of things that i have seen out in web land.

Noisy transport when playing discs.

Build quality....... Internal workings and isolation of part not on a par with the price of product

It is an Arcam made player and not a pre bought re badged machine (I'm not asking about where it is assembled).

If you could that would be great.
