Arcam Alpha 9 Phono Stage

Hi,

I have just bought an Alpha 9, whilst it is great it has the familiar selector switch issue and also has no phono module.

I am progressing with the switch selector and should be able to get a new one or repair for reasonable dollars!

Does anyone know where I can get a phono module from? Or is there anyone out there who has ditched their vinyl would be willing to part with theirs!

I am a hoarder and can't ditch my vinyl also keen to listen to it on this rather nice amp too!

Do you live in the UK? if not, the only place I can advise is to look on auction sites. Or have you thought about an extenal phono stage?

Hi yes I am in the UK ... do you have any suggestions?

External phono stage is an option but I read some reviews saying that the internal does a very nice job and would like to try that if possible!

It's true, Arcam do produce some of the finest in-built phon stages, however, apart from auction sites, I'm unsure where one would locate them. Look at the link below, they might be able to provide an answer.
