Just heard these two and thought I'd contribute to the discussion.
I tried the K3 and A39 with B&W's 683 s2's and the KEF R500. Source was a bluesound node.
The K3 gives a very nice wallop, which helps the B&Ws but might be excessively punchy for some on the much tauter R500. I listen to metal and rock so I liked that kick.
The A39 sounded much more refined, fitting very naturally with the R500s. It also presented more detail, which sounded great on both, particularly the 683s, since they give such a wide soundstage for that detail to be heard on.
For me they all end up being pretty much priced correctly for their relative performances, but it's very much down to your tastes in genre and tone.
