Apple TV

Just watched todays Apple Event live on my Apple TV.

Got to say - was a bit disapointed that their was no mention of any news in this area. Was hoping for some sort of software update or something ? Anything in fact ! Not too sure what I was expecting but anything would have been good.

Am I the only one that thought this ?

Quite tempted to buy the new Retina mini now mind.

Ho hum.

Ps WHF - can we have a separate Apple TV section please like you do for their phones and pads please. Think I have posted this in the right place ?

Apple TV update came only last month.

The movie industy doesnt want to get owned in the same way the music industy did by iTunes, so they are dragging their heals on deals with Apple. Unless the content becomes available, there will never be a serious Apple TV effort, and ATV will remain a mirroring and netflix only device.
