Apple express to Marantz 6005 via coaxial

Hello,

I currently own a Marantz 6005 and what I would like to do is connect my apple express to the coaxial input on the amp. The optical input is already taken because it is already used for the tv. My idea was that I wanted to airplay music to the amp without the tv on. Would a simple cable with a 3.5 jack on one end and a coaxial on the other work?

I am thinking of doing the same if I were to buy this amp, did you get the cable, how's it sounding?
