Anyone got the lg pz550 plasma ? or a review due soon ?

Anyone got the above tv ? 599 at the moment from currys but cant find any reviews as yet !

I work in Currys (don't worry I'm not trying to sell you one). For £599, its a pretty good set, i'd say its probably on par with the samsung 50d550 plasma, though if you were really looking for a good 50 inch at that price point . . the closest thing I would personally be happy with would be the Panasonic 50ST30. Quite a lot more. If your budget is £599, get one . . There's nothing close until you get to the samsung, which we currently have at £799.

I bought the 50" last saturday and can vouch for its performance with SD - superb, either from the built in freeview tuner or via satellite

bluray performance is breathtaking, suberb colour reproduction and excellent black levels

I use standard setting - contrast 90, brightness 45, sharpness 55 and colour 65
dynamic colour and contrast set to off as well as noise reduction etc

have not used 3d yet

Hi,

I bought one on Friday from Currys. Very happy so far, big difference from my 42" LG 42PC1d. I have the screen on energy save settings to let the panel bed in.

How you finding the screen reflection as it seems very reflective and i have a brightish room .
