anyone buying the new sony zx2 walkman

at £949 it's expensive but i guess the sound will be astonishing or would like to think so at this price. people may be against this but really this should end the need to ever question whether a remaster cd of any sort is better or worth buying over the original release as sony promises studio quality music even bringing cd quality to near hi res any owners of this will prob never need to look at a remaster ever again. this is only a good thing...no?

I don't understand what it can do that justifies the cost over even a basic Samsung Android or iOS device. That's big no from me.

Overpriced by a long way. Its volume output will be a EU strangles whisper and it will have non hi fi rubbish add ons like streaming etc. Get a serious music player like the new Astell and Kern Junior at sub £400 and you won't be dissapointed. Or on a real budget a Fiio X3 or X5. Far superior sonically in every way.
