I actually saw Anvil back in late 80's at St Davids Hall in Cardiff. Think they were support band for Y+T (though it's a while ago so might be wrong on that info).

If i recall, 'Lips' their main guitarist/vocalist used a vibrator to play slide guitar, and they had a song 'Butter Bust Jerky' which surprisingly enough was about a woman spreading butter on her large chest !!! Just looked up the lyrics (they certainly don't make them like this anymore):-
