Hi

I picked up my HTC One S a earlier this morning, and a message appeared on the main homescreen "loading your weather..." in a 1x4 sized horizontal shape in a location where I had no apps or widgets previously. I scrolled left and right through the other "home screens", and the photo gallery widget was empty. I went to my camera, and it was empty too.

I panicked and did a restart and it was the same.

Eventually the "loading your weather" message was replaced with a weather widget that I haven't used in a year or so. And my photos then, after about 10 minutes, reappeared.

Obv I can easily remove that widget, but am a bit concerned as to what caused this. Has anyone experienced similar?

thanks

sadly not. All photos get stuck in a cloud somewhere (dropbox), so that should save me if it properly dies. Have you experienced similar? I wonder it this the start of things to come, or simply a one-off blip?

Only on my old DesireHD when it would occasionally lose the SD card so everything installed on it disappeared. It's not that though, so I don't know what to suggest.

I Think that is a sense bug and been around a long time. Used to get that regularly on my HTC Desire usually following a random reboot, and less regularly but still happened on my One X.
