Ditch it, you won't regret it but you have to do it properly.im now wondering why am i still paying for a TV licence i never use the bbc app.
Can you. I thought if your TV was capable of receiving BBC broadcasts then you had to have a license?Ditch it, you won't regret it but you have to do it properly.
You can download properly worded legal letter from the internet.
This will stop them harassing you with unsolicited visits.
Most of BBC dramas are on Netflix anyway 😊
No, you must not watch any live TV if you don't have a licence, nor any of the BBC TV services like iPlayer. Can you. I thought if your TV was capable of receiving BBC broadcasts then you had to have a license?
Only if it is live BBC broadcast or if you're registered to use their iPlayer, you need a licence. Third party entities like Netflix, who have purchased BBC dramas/shows from them are allow to transmit recorded programmes to their subscribers. Can you. So if you never watch live broadcasts but have a tv capable of doing so why do people keep getting licence reminders. Just a pointless threat??It's the act of watching/recording live broadcasts + using iPlayer to watch BBC content that is licensable.
As you can legitimately use iPlayer to watch S4C on demand content without a licence

I thought "on demand" watching of anything on iPlayer was a point made in having a license? It doesn't stipulate what when it comes to iPlayer.
On demand through anything but iPlayer seems acceptable.
