I have just tried a pair of Proac Hexa response satallite speakers intended as a possible replacement for my Jamo 300 rears. Just to get an idea how they sounded I set them up as front speakers on my AV Denon 3808 and played a Mary Black CD I was astounded at how good these were, they were a little light in bass as they are designed to cut off at 80hz (THX influence?) but for a tiny speaker the sound was hypnotic and crystal clear. (8.5"x5.5"x6") or (216x140x152) around a half the volume of the Proac Tablette 8 a small speaker in itself.

If you need a very small speaker I would strongly suggest an audition.

They are an amazing little speaker. They sound as good as they do because the quality of their drive units is in line with their other models, rather than being cheaper versions.

yes they are hypnotic i own a set also, ive never heard a speaker this small this good, but Proac in general make some of the finest speakers in the world. I have just bought a set of ref 8 sig, so i will let you know how they sound in comparison. if your in the market for a tiny speaker i dont think there is anything better.

REMOVED BY MODS - the second time you post a link and picture for the same ebay auction, it begins to look suspicious.

Just wondering what a 5.1 system comprising ProAc's D1 loudseaker would sound like stead of Hexa's......would need good amplification as they're a bit more demanding, but that should sound something special.
