Which amp should I choose for q-acoustics 2010i?

Used:

Denon PMA 425R

Cambridge Audio Azur 340A

Pionner A-109

New:

Denon PMA 520AE

Hi Jfil,

To be honest any of those amps will be fine the Q acoustics are not fussy - a quick search on a well know auction site yielded a few although old more interesting amps.

There's a Pioneer A400 for £110, Cyrus 6VS for £150 and various Arcam amps such as an Alpha 8 at £135 all these would be good.

How would you describe the Denon vs Cambridge sound signature?

There is no major difference, I would buy the Cambridge Audio

Old amps may need servicing. If you feel better with some warranty buy the new Denon.

I wouldnt worry too much about the amp for those speakers
