amp 5.1 rear set up

hi,just noticed that my rear speakers on my onkyo 606 amp are connected to the SURR BACK SPEAKERS(bi-amp for front speakers)is this correct or should it be in the surr left and right,thanks.(my speakers are not bi-amped).

rear speakers in 5.1 system shound be connected to the surround left and right, you would not use the surround back channels in a 5.1 system (unless you have biamped the front channels).

Thanks smmee,I have just been changing a few settings on my amp and noticed that my amp must have been set on bi-amp setting for speakers thats why i could never get any sound out of the rears by wiring speakers to the rear surr.
Will change over in morning and re-setup.thanks.
