Amazing, stunning aluminium Oheocha designer speakers on Ebay, but any info??

They look great! If I had £1500 lying around, i'd snap 'em up. For that money, you can't lose. You'd make a profit on resale if you didn't like them.

EDIT: Scratch that, I thought £1500 was the 'Buy it now' price. They're gonna go for some serious wedge!

I don't normally like wacky speaker designs, but these look amazing, like something out of a 1950s sci-fi film, love to hear them.

I wonder what on Earth the guy who's selling them is buying to replace them

got to wonder why he's selling them. since they were specifically designed for him, and are the best sounding in the world.

Good luck getting them though.

Thanks so much for the info!!

I was hoping that because they were made for him specifically that the secondhand value might be low? Does that make sense?

I would love these but was thinking of writing to him and offering £2000 as a buy it now.

If you think he is crazy to sell these, the same guy is selling a Lambo!!

Andy Clough:We did review them a few years back, but I can't for the life of me remember how they rated.

Three stars. Can't remember the details of the review, but sure performance/pound came into it!

And - sci-fi geek alert! - look out for a pair in Dr Graystone's lab in Caprica

Dont know if I like them or not. I suppose in the right design environment they would look stunning but they wouldnt fit in with mine (my house is a interior design free house). The biggest problem I can see is deciding if you like the sound. I suppose if you are in the smoke you could always phone and arrange a demo cos you aint going to get one anywhere else. I dont think that spending that sort of dosh and buying blind (or deaf) is a good idea. Choice is yours........

chebby:I suppose I am the only one who thinks they are hideous.

Nope, I'm with you on that one.

Me too. They look cheap to me. I'd rather go for some Eclipse TDs if I wanted off-the-wall design. There's a speaker that looks gorgeous.

I'm with you there Ed, kinda perplexing as it does not come across he has used them much.... maybe he is upgrading? I'm sure someone will ask the question. I personally like the design, but do wonder how aluminium conducts sound...

Not alone at all, I would not give them house room, yuk.............

Heard them at a show some while back, and they were impressive, but there was a joke doing the rounds that the brandname came from the sound of the involuntary reaction on first seeing them, rather than being the designer's name...
