Do you mean the clearer audio copper-line alpha mains lead?

Any chance of a bit more info?

AFAIK this is a known problem and is caused by the Panasonics having the "recessed" power inlet. The wattgate will not allow the iec connector to engage fully. Sure the guys at clearer will sort it our for you.

They could adapt the existing cable so that it would use the existing clip in plug for the tv and i would gain 90-95% performance form the alphaline, but i have decided to send it back and get a refund....

I tried a TM3 power lead with my Panny TV and that didn't work either, despite it being fully plugged in and being the same depth as the original lead.

It seemed that the TV wouldn't power up if the clips that straddle the kettle lead weren't engaged, which it can only do with the standard panny power leads.

Boo.
