Extension virtually complete no more drilling/sawing to be done so now getting close to decision time, will be about 5 metre from screen (Plan to wall mount on chimney breast - Not in use) so 50" is favoured. Can't afford Pioneer and have cable so Panny PZ80 seems to be favourite unless can talk dealer into a good offer on the PZ800. Once screen is in I'd imagine I'd go for V+ , Was concerned about SD quality but shop put on daytime rubbish and was surprised that it was watchable and his Freeview/ariel setup was feeding all the sets in the shop so my cable feed should be better than that.

Well what do you think, all comments even criticism if constructive appreciated. It's a lot of dosh!!

I'm in the same boat as you, been looking for a while and had just about convinced myself that the Panny PZ80 was the one but been around for a while and knowing my luck they'll bring out a new model the week after I pay full price! Out of interest what's the best price you've seen for the PZ80?
