About 2 months ago I bought a Toshiba 32" HD LCD and a Toshiba 370 HD DVD player. At the time I lived in a small flat and that was all I needed.

However, I've just moved to a larger house and would like to go surround-sound. My 3 options appear to be:

1. Buy an amp and speaker separates. This looks to be about £750 for anything worth having.

2. Buy a home cinema in a box without a DVD. The Yamaha kit at £250 looks the best bet.

3. Buy a complete all-in-one home cinema kit. I'd go for the LG at £270 but I'd lose the quality of my existing (brand new!) DVD player plus the £70 I paid for it.

Any advice?

Cheers nokz. OK. Let's go with that for a mo then. Would I have to buy the amp at the same time as the speakers? Or would the speakers operate out the back of my DVD player so I could delay the amp and spread the cost?
