All in one systems

Hi there people, im looking to buy a all in one system to replace my old Philips one. I've got £500-£600, maybe £700 at a push.

It would be mainly used for movies but also listing to music. The two sytems that ive seen so far are the Sony DBVE370 and the Samsung HT-C5550.

I would like to hear if anyone has any experience of these two or if there any others that i have missed.

Have you considered home cinema separates system? They should give you a superior performance over one box home cinema systems, although the models you're considering are decent performers.

Ive done a bit looking around and have found a Sony BDPS370, Sony STRDH800 and Jamo A105 HCS5 for £610 total. Would these all work together and how much of an improvement would they be?

The main reason i was looking at a all in system was that space is pritty tight and just for easy of use realy.

That trio would be a great combination - would certainly outperform an all-in-one at same price.

But if you want to go the one-box route, we've a Group Test of Blu-ray systems in our next issue - on sale in a couple of weeks...
