EAC V1.0Beta 1 came out recently , haven't seen a post here informing users , seems worthwhile to upgrade, new version gives you the oppurtunity to get album art amongst many other new features - List here

One thing to note if your running an External Storage/NAS device and using V95Beta 4 or earlier new version doen't like UNC path so you need to code a mapped drive z: opposed to Music Etc.

Hi PJPro , Yes I installed last week to a different directory and apart from minor irritant that you can't import your old profile file so setup again is the only option and the UNC problem mentioned everthing is good , art download works and you can add the art to tags or just store in creation directory. Lots of useful new features e.g. Better Win 7 support, you can fix logs to English / checksum them which would be useful for people who fileshare. AccurateRip V2 , ability for free selection of first track ..

Have only ripped about 4 CD's so far but think I'll uninstall old version very soon

Hmm. Sounds like it's worth investigating.

Trouble is, I'm very satisfied with the way EAC currently works. The album art update would have been tempting but I manually download album art from Album Art Exchange. For some reason the small-minded individuals on there have blocked automatic updates. There is no better source of album art (in terms of image quality) so I put up with it.

PJ give it a go , download & just Install to a different directory for fallback purposes if needed, setup and give it a go I really can't see a reason for going back to an older version. It's certainly seems to perform the same so apart from the time taken to setup nothing lost.

P.S I deleted my old version today no going back!
