airport express visible in windows but not airport utility

has anyone had this problem?

i can see it in 'view wireless networks' but nothing in Airport Utility. i can even connect to it (according to windows). Tried loads of resets and looking through help but cant resolve the issue. It was visible before, but i couldnt connect to it to change the settings and get it set-up. now i cant see it atall

any ideas

its suddenly appeared but airport utility says i can connect, but not access the device. it says "check the network connection is valid. error -4."

not sure what this means

anyone encountered this

AirPort Express can be a little tricky at times.

Try using a cable between the APE and your computer for set-up -- or, if everything else fails -- re-set the box and let it 'rest' for † few hours (like over night) without plugging it to the power socket.
