Airport express and cyrus DAC X+

How do you connect AE to the DAC X+; is it possibble to do this optically?

Yes, the 3.5mm out on the AE doubles up as an analogue and optical out. Use an optical lead with a 3.5mm plug or a normal one with 3.5mm adaptor.
