I'm looking for a good airplay speaker set.

I have about £500 to spend.

Please tell me what you think is best?

Sonos, Bose, Zeppelin?

Or another?

Apple Airport Express and a set of Audio Engine active speakers. Well within your £500 range, and very good value for money.

It depends on what exactly you want from the system. If you're sure you're going to be stuck with Apple products, then an exclusive AirPlay speaker like B&W A5 / A7 can be considered. However, if you want compatibility with non-Apple products as well, look at other supported features like Bluetooth, or a Sonos.
