Advice on Speaker match Please

I'm new to the forums and would like some advice having recently upgraded my set-up. My previous kit was a Cambridge Audio Azur 640A v1 Amp and Cambridge Audio Azur 540 CD player. This was matched with floorstanding Jamo E850 speakers (a popular brand in NZ 5 years ago or so). New kit is based around Marantz PM15 Amp and Marantz 7001KI CD Player. QED Revelation speaker cables and Chord Chameleon Silver + interconnect. I need new speakers - thinking about B&W 685 or 684 or wondering whether I should be expanding my budget? All sensible suggestions welcomed.

Hi!

U may wanna consider Mordaunt Short Mezzo 8. When my friend came to my house for a listening, he commented that my Mezzo 8 have better bass than the B&W. Also, I have audition the PM15 amp with Mezzo 8 and it sounded real good. For Mezzo 8, if can can pump in more power for her, she will definately sing more gracefully 🙂. I hv tried pairing it with Bel Canto S300i and what I can say is - WOW! really amazing sound.
