Advice on New Set Up Wanted

I'm about to buy a complete new TV and home cinema set up and have a maximum budget of about £2000. I want to buy 37 -40 inch TV, an AV amp with a 2.1 speaker system or a soundbar and a blue ray player. I will be using my existing Sky HD+ source as well.

My experiments to date with blue ray have disappointed as the judder on my current HD Ready Sharp TV is offputting and I've gone back to DVD.

I'd welcome any advice on both a good combo of units for the money i have, plus any ideas about combatting the judder ive experienced on blue ray.

Hey PP. When you say you've experimented with Bluray already, do you have a player or was it borrowed? And what model is your Sharp?

I bought a Sony 300 (and replaced it with another 300) and a 360. All had judder, usually during slow panning scenes (eg start of Harry Potter order of pheonix. The Sharp is an Aquos, a LC32WD1E
