Advice needed on Panasonic L37G10 please

I'm looking to buy the new Panasonic L37G10, but am a bit concerned as a couple of reviews state the tv doesn't handle SD footage very well. I know people have different views on how things look but I don't want to spend that amount and find the SD channels are unbearable to watch.

Also, I didn't know if the tv was tested with an SD analogue signal or not as I've got a Sky HD box so would hope the SD channels would be better quality.

Has anyone seen one in action and do they have any opinions?

Go and see one at a proper retailer. Forget buying based on the opinions of others over the internet. Put your business the way of a proper dealer who can demonstrate the performance of the set and provide comparisons with equivalent models. As a bonus you'll get more support if anything goes wrong later on.
