Advice for Brother in Law

Hi Guys,

My Brother in Law has asked me for advice on finding a record player......he is a musician himself (writes his own songs, plays guitar and gigs actively) and is into his music although he doesnt have a stereo setup....i.e. amp, speakers etc. He is looking for a decent turntable, but is ideally looking for a vintage look.

Personally I cant see the sound of these being up to much as they are all in one amplifiers and turntables....can anybody comment on these or any alternatives that may be available?

If he does not have a system, why not suggest something like this, plus a pair of decent speakers. Better than other all in one systems. although not very retro looking.
