oh for god sake, why is posting on this forum such a pain in the butt compared to 99.9% of others!!?

Google is dangerous, just when i thought i was 100% sure on the ikon 6's the above popped up in a search and theyre stunners imo, i must audition but in the meantime anyone heard/own a set?

I don’t know the 305s but am familiar with the old 109s (that’s going back quite a way now). While they weren’t the last word in refinement they were one of the most fun speakers I’ve heard and their strong point is the lower mids / upper bass areas where they are super fast. When I demoed AE speakers the first track I put on what ‘The River Boat Song’ with that bass guitar line that used to play on TFI Fridays and to this day it has never left me, that is the kind of music those speakers were built to excel at.

In terms of long lasting appeal, style and residual resale value, I would certainly go for the Ikon 6's Craig, these are a far better speaker overall!
