Hi

I currently have my iTunes library on a NAS drive which I access from my Windows laptop. I'm buying my first iMac tomorrow and wanted to know how I get iTunes on the mac to point to my NAS. Is it the same as the Windows version where you hold down the Shift/Ctrl button when double clicking the iTunes button to get the dialog box which lets you select the location of the library file?

Also, are the library files created by the Windows version of iTunes compatable with Snow Leopard?

Many thanks.

What sort of NAS do you have? Just make sure your iMac is set up to always mount the NAS on start up, there is a video on this site which shows you how to do this, look under "Video" then "How To" and there is a video entitled "How to network iTunes".

The swap should be relatively straightforward, read the link below as this gives some very good advice:

Your windows created files are fully compatible with Snow Leopard.
