a good match?

hi all,

I'm after some opinions on whether i would be making a good choice here or not. I was thinking of changing to an all in one system and was really taken back by the meridian f80, but now feel i dont want to lose the 'hi fi' sound if possible, so am thinking of now opting for the arcam solo. If i go for the arcam, i was wondering whether my current speakers would match this well, or should i think of upgrading them as well. My current speakers are kef q55.2 floor standers. Any info or opinions appreciated.

Or does anyone have any other ideas as what to look at? Budget would be around £1500, and ideally a one box plus speakers would be the largest i want to go for... I can get away with the speakers as the missus thinks they look quite nice and 'blend with the room'.....

Take a look at the Linn Classik Musik. VERY VERY good and, in my opinion, wipes the floor with the Arcam for excitement, atmosphere and sheer foot tapping enjoyability.
