Yeah somebody else said that in this thread too but I've read a few entries saying they sounded good with the RS8s - guess it's about individual taste..
forget about 'looks' .... here is a newly listed Pioneer A400 ,,, seller says its in mint condition .... buy it now of £65 .... bargain IMHO and does the job well .... but be quick as it will sell soon ....

There's an RA-06 on ebay right now, but I'd tend towards the creek if you can find it, but it's not that easy.
Yeah mate - I am finding that problem lol. I am looking for either a Creek or a Primare A20, both which seem impossible to find. The 06 on eBay does look tempting but I think it will fetch much more than my budget should really allow!
Most probably. Not that I'm a Rotel fanboy, but don't ignore the 03/06 series pre-power. But unless they some on together you may come unstuck if you buy one and are forced to wait for the other. Just stick at it, one of your options will come up.
Very difficult this - just realised the Creek doesn't have any tone or bass control on it - not liking that at all.. Looking like I'm going to buy a rotel ra-06 at the moment, or by some miracle i can find an 03.
