Just bought a new 8K receiver. The Denon one big boss recommended a while ago. 😎

7.2 amp because I only have a 5.1 speaker system. Hoping for the best here.

Nice. Plus you can get 'virtual' Dolby Atmos from it with your 5.1 set up. 👍
Cool, didn’t know that! :) My plan is to hook up the PS5 to it to be able to play soundtracks in DTS Master Audio too. I have just got my Cambridge Audio from downstairs too so going back to 4K discs.

If in the future I feel a need for my Samsung 8K TV I will connect that up too but not quite sure of the advantages of doing that? Thanks

I just hope in the setup it doesn’t keep asking me to turn the sub down because I like it where it is at the moment.

Did you sort out Gel remotely BB.
BB told me in a previous thread a long time ago now that a Denon X series amp would all sound the same with same components - the only difference is that the expensive ones have more channels to them but same sound quality as a 7.1 or 5.1 Denon amps. He is definitely right too.
