Want an LCd tv and will use it with my sky+ box. Will also upgrade the dvd to an upscaling dvd player. Also will use a playstation 2.
Probably wont upgrade to hd for a good while yet.
Fancy a Samsung Le32r878bdx but not sure if i need to go for a 1080 set

Hey Mark,

I'm not one of the magazine experts or anything but it would appear from you included in your post that you don't have any HD sources to run through it, any particular reason you want one yet?

Hi Mark

If you're going to buy an HD source at some point, then at the very least you should get an HD-ready TV that can handle high-definition TV from Sky or Virgin. All HD TV broadcasts are in 720p or 1080i.

You only really need to consider 1080p if you intend to add a Blu-ray player/PS3, or HD DVD player at a later date.
