7.1 B&W 685 Theater System???

This is my current set-up...samsung 32in LCD,Onkyo tx-sr605 with Sony PS3 as my blu-ray player, chord speaker wires, monster bass 300 subwoofer cable, Chord HDMI silver plus 1.3(2 pcs),and a B&W 685 Theater 5.1 System.

My problem begins with, what will be my perfect and appropriate surround rear will be? will it be the B&W 686s? or the B&W DS3? because want to make my B&W 685 to 7.1 configuration.

Please give me a hand on this...

It's really going to depend on your room I think - are you able to have a couple of standmounting 686s or M1s as the surround backs or will they need to go on the wall? A trip to a good dealer who'll allow you a home demo of a few different kinds over a few weeks would seem the best idea.

If you can wallmount the left and right surrounds, I'd go for the DS3s and move the 686s to the surround back channels.

If not, I'd just go for an extra pair of 686s.
