Hi
I'm having a lounge come home cinema built. Having to balance light, airy lounge during day and then blackout when we want to use projector Panny AE4000 etc. Fired up the PJ onto breeze block wall and I'm already excited about how good it was looking!
For daytime and casual use we wanted a large TV. What HiFi review this month was very useful since 50 inch Panny V20 high on my list as was G20
For LCD I had Sony 55EX503 as the leading option (want 50 inch+) - real shame that the 50inch review in mag was unable for some reason to include a something from the Sony brand- especially as I would imagine most people would be trying to decide between Sony, Samsung, Panasonic.
Anyway - I love my existing Plasma (2 yr old panasonic 42") in the dark lounge we have. My heart is saying get the V20. My head is saying skylights and 3m folding sliding doors to side may cause too many reflections and perhaps the LCD Sony 55EX503 is the way to go.
I would welcome any thoughts or ideas from others - how big a deal are bright rooms and lighting for casual plasma viewing?
