5.1 Surround under £500

Hi

I'm interested in a new 5.1 Surround system for TV and Music (bias towards TV and Film). Budget ideally less than £500 for the speaker system alone. I already have a Sony STR-K880 AV Receiver which I will use to connect the speakers.

In my price range I have been considering the following complete 5.1 systems...

Kef 2005.2

Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 Package

Bose Acoustimass 6

Mission M-Cube (perhaps a bit too pricey)

I am in no way an expert on any of this so any advice on one of these (or another altogether?) very much appreciated.

The Q Acoustics 1010i package is the head-and-shoulders-above-the-rest star in that list - it's awesome value for money and sounds like a much bigger package. Great with movies and not bad at all with music, either.

Just make sure you get the new 'i' version - the old version was great, but the 'i' upgrade makes a big difference.
