Hello is there a difference between 3D ready TV's and 3D TV's or is it just companys different advertising?

What is the difference between LCD and LED?

I read Sky display 3D different from how it is diplayed on a Blue Ray disc. Will this effect the 3D glasses because they are designed for 3D images on Blue Ray?

I am seriously thinking of getting a TV and the more info I have the better so any more info I have forgot please make me aware cheers!

Some TVs are described as 3D-ready because you need to buy an extra pack containing one or more pairs of 3D glasses, plus a transmitter to connect these to the TV, in order to see the 3D effect.

'LED' TVs are still LCDs, but the backlighting uses LED lamps rather than the fluorescent tubes found in other LCDs.

The Sky service will be viewable on all 3D TVs.
