I am looking for a 37" Tv for my parents, they do not need 3D and watch the tv mainly through a Sky box (not HD)and dont own a BluRay player so SD performance is the most important.

they wopuld like to spend around £400

Any Advice would be appreciated

Thanks

I bougt an LG37LD490 tv and it was £400.99 at Argos and delivery was £5.95 ( i do non't work there). It has 1 scart and 3 HDMIs and is able to receive Freeview HD. I have Sky HD, Bluray player and a DVD player so i use the HDMIs. Once I tweaked the picture settings the picture is excellent and Sky HD and blurays look fantastic. I like motorsport and watch Moto GP, Superbikes and Formula 1, etc and have no problems with motion.

The tv is a doddle to set up just plug in the aerial and the tuner does the rest and the remote is clear and logical. You can rename the inputs ( they have a selection of names) so you parents can find their Sky box easily.

Best Wishes

Chris
