hi guys just a quick question. im starting to play more music from my android phone at the moment im using a cheap 3.5mm jack to 2 rca lead.but i see on my nad c316bee amp that it has a 3.5mm jack on the front for connecting devices.so my question is should i get a decent 3.5mm to 2 rca lead or a straight through 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead.i also connect it to my soundcard the same way so just wondering which has better sound quality ?.

In theory there shouldn't be any difference between the two, electrically speaking. In practice the only way to know is to try both and see which sounds better to your ears (if you can tell a difference).

If it was me I'd plug the soundcard output into the RCAs at the back as that'll be a semi-permanent connection and use the front 3.5mm for your portable devices as you'll probably want to clear the cable away when you've finished and that'll be a lot easier with a front jack plug than it will the rear RCAs.
