are 1080i or 720p lcd tvs capable of 24fps and do u know how i would find out if mines is compaitable its lg27lc2r just wandering as wanting to know if bluray looks good on 1080i or 720p thanx for any help i receive

Yes, many HD Ready sets with a 720p/1080i resolution are capable of accepting 1080p and 24fps (though not always both). And Blu-ray can look superb downscaled to suit such sets, though you will lose some detail compared to the best Full HD TVs.

You'll need to check with LG as to whether your TV is capable of handling 1080p/24fps - i'm afraid I don't know.

I have a panasonic TH50PX70 that can accept a 1080p signal but when i go into my BD30 settings i can't turn 24fps do you no why this is.
